Ascend is on a mission to reignite spiritual discipline in the modern age — starting by becoming the Duolingo for the Bible. Backed by explosive early traction, we’re building the most habit-forming faith-based learning app in the world. Now, we’re hiring a Founding UI/UX Designer to help us scale from thousands of users to millions.

What You’ll Do:
  • Own the UI/UX design for our mobile app, including wireframes, prototypes, and visual elements
  • Build and ship intuitive, engaging features rapidly, from gamified Bible study mechanics to user-centered spiritual tools
  • Collaborate directly with the founder and team on product strategy, user experience direction, and roadmap
  • Ensure designs align with our mission to enhance Bible study practices on mobile devices
  • Lay the foundation for a world-class design culture rooted in simplicity, accessibility, and faith-aligned purpose

Who Are You:
  • Passionate about faith, spirituality, or building something with real societal impact
  • A creative designer who thrives in zero-to-one environments
  • Obsessed with user-centered design, clean interfaces, and delivering spiritual delight
  • Experienced with tools like Figma or Adobe XD — or confident enough to learn fast
  • Comfortable wearing multiple hats and moving at founder-speed

Bonus If You:
  • Have experience designing consumer mobile apps at scale
  • Are excited by gamification, habit loops, or AI in faith-tech
  • Want to help define the future of Bible study experiences
