Remote Graphic Designer

The Position

Church Media Squad is looking for a Full-Time Graphic Designer to join our growing Squad. At Church Media Squad, we exist to make church media better by helping local church ministries with graphic and video production, communication and social strategy, website development, and full-scale branding.

Our new Graphic Designer will help aid in the weekly graphic design needs of the Church Media Squad clients as well as daily communications with said clients. The Graphic Designer position is a full-time position.

All Church Media Squad employees work completely remotely. Full-time employees receive a company MacBook Pro after their first six weeks. Church Media Squad is an Apple-only environment.

Qualifications:

Required proficiency with:
- Photoshop - Expert
- Illustrator - Intermediate to Expert
- InDesign - Intermediate to Expert
Must submit a portfolio link with the application. Only portfolios containing the following project types will be considered:
- Sermon Series Designs
- Social Posts
- Merch - T-Shirts, Stickers
- Custom Illustration
- Large Layout - Booklets of 4+ pages
- Small Layout - Connect cards, Brochures
Familiarity with these tools is a plus but not a requirement: Slack.com, ClickUp.com, & Dropbox.com
Preference is given to applicants based in the United States or other North American countries. However, Church Media Squad employees are located worldwide, so any application is welcome.
We are particularly interested in applicants with experience working for a church. This firsthand experience enables us to serve better the church staff we collaborate with daily.

Responsibilities:

Work assigned workload based on projects from our Project Managers Squad.
The official working time for all member-facing Squad Members is +/- 2 hours of 9AM - 5 PM Central Standard Time (CST).
Work with Squad Churches (our clients) during the design process, including drafts, revisions, and final file creation/delivery.
Communicate with design clients via ClickUp with a high level of customer support and care. Send a meme or gif showing how you feel about working in customer service to kyra@churchmediasquad.com.
Regularly be in contact with the Squad via our company Slack
Bi-weekly 1:1s with your Squad Lead (direct manager)
Act as a community expert and mentor within Church Circle, engaging in discussions, sharing insights, and, if applicable, leading webinars or workshops to support collaboration and education among ministry professionals.

Other Details:

Reports to a Squad Lead (direct manager).
High-speed internet is required for this position.
This is a full-time, W2 employee position with a starting pay range of $21.63 - $26.44 per hour. Pay is dependent on location and experience.
Church Media Squad has an annual pay raise consideration period every January after your first full year of employment.
